Visiting Assistant Professor - Management

The University of California, Merced is a dynamic new university campus in Merced, California, which opened in September 2005 as the tenth campus of the University of California and the first American research university in the 21st century. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Ernest & Julio Gallo Management Program invite applications for Visiting Assistant Professors for a wide array of courses. We are seeking scholars who can contribute to the research environment at UC Merced. Priority areas of teaching/research include accounting, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, strategy, finance, marketing, information systems, and operations management. The appointment will be made on a yearly basis, for a maximum of two years, with a 2-course teaching load per semester.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: A Ph.D. degree in one of the academic areas of management, or a closely related field with demonstrated excellence in scholarship and teaching are required. We are particularly interested in candidates who have cross-functional or multi-disciplinary research interests. Appointments will be effective July 1, 2012, or later.

SALARY: Negotiable, based on the University of California Pay Schedule and Commensurate with Experience
