Faculty Position in Business Law, Specializing in Private Law

The Department of Accounting invites applications for a tenure track or tenured position in Business Law, especially private law. In private law our research and education focuses on financial markets, company law, contract law, labor law, market and competition law and intellectual property law (IPR). The teaching is given in English. Applicants at all ranks will be considered.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants are expected to have a doctoral degree in a relevant field. When recruiting for Assistant Professor first term, the evaluation is mainly based on potential in research and professional work, teaching, and activity in the scientific community and academic leadership. To be appointed to the Associate Professor or the Full Professor position the applicant should have evidence of strong and ongoing research in the field of business law as well as of the ability and willingness for academic leadership. The minimum requirements for reaching tenure (Associate or Full Professor levels) are (1) excellence in research and high quality teaching, or (2) excellence in teaching and high quality research. Additionally, activity in the scientific community and merits in academic leadership are among the evaluation criteria.
