Charlotte School of Law, a fully-accredited ABA school located in North Carolina's most populous city, seeks candidates for the position of Dean and Chief Academic Officer. The appointment to this position will be effective during the 2012-2013 academic year.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should be able to provide direction and lead change that will enable the institution to establish itself as a benchmark for legal education in the 21st century. Toward this end, he or she should understand the regulatory and market challenges confronting legal education and be able to lead the process of redesigning the prevailing law school model. Candidates should have a strong outcome orientation and commitment to continuous improvement, the capacity to build high-performing teams of faculty and staff, establish and maintain a culture grounded in high levels of personal openness and trust, and evidence a strong commitment to serving those who historically have been underserved.
