Lateral Law Faculty - Chaired Appointment (Business Law)

The University of Minnesota Law School is searching for a chaired, tenured appointment in the field of Business Law (broadly defined); areas of particular interest include taxation, commercial law and bankruptcy, and business associations and securities law.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have a distinguished scholarly publication record, strong peer indicators of esteem, and clear evidence of interest and preferably a willingness to begin in the 2013-2014 academic year. Applicants should hold a J.D. degree or equivalent academic qualification and should demonstrate a commitment to law teaching. Qualified candidates will normally hold a tenured academic position with an appointment at the full professor level or its equivalent. Competitive candidates will normally have a minimum of 8 - 10 years of full time teaching experience.
