Midwest Law and Economics Association Annual Meeting

October 12-13, 2012, Washington University School of Law

The Center on Law, Innovation and Economic Growth (CLIEG) of Washington University School of Law will organize the Annual Meeting of the Midwest Law and Economics Association (MLEA) on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 October, 2012 at the law school. Participation (including meals) is free, but participants should finance their own travel and hotel costs. For those who have not been to MLEA before: you need not be a Midwesterner, and there is no MLEA membership fee.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Papers can be on any topic as long as an economic approach is used to analyze a legal issue. To apply, send a paper or abstract to: Professor Gerrit De Geest, no later than June 30, 2012.

FURTHER INFORMATION: The final program will be posted in mid-July. There will also be an 'early bird' submission round: those who submit their paper or abstract before March 31st, will receive a decision in mid-April. Early submission increases acceptance chances.
