Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is a world-ranked international business school, accredited by the AACSB, the Association of MBAs and EQUIS. The most recent Financial Times Global MBA rankings placed LUMS within the top-50 business schools in the world. LUMS has topped the UK research rankings in business and management for nearly two decades. Accounting and Finance is one of the largest departments within LUMS and there is very strong demand for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The Department offers an excellent research environment, including access to state-of-the-art databases.

Applications are invited from accomplished researchers for Chairs (Professors) in Accounting or Finance (Ref: A510) and Lecturers/Senior Lecturers (Assistant/Associate Professors) in Accounting or Finance (Ref: A511).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for the posts of Chair in Accounting or Finance will need to have an established international reputation and to be willing to play a leading role in the further development of the accounting or finance group. Applications are welcomed in all fields of accounting and finance. Applications for visiting and fixed-term appointments are also welcome.

Applicants for the lectureship positions should have a PhD and should have published at international standard or be able to demonstrate the potential to do so in the future. Applications are encouraged from those with interests in all areas of accounting or finance. Applicants for Senior Lecturer appointment will additionally require both sustained publication success at international standard and teaching excellence. Applications for visiting and fixed-term appointments are welcome.

- Chair (Full Professor) - Negotiable salary to include significant and competitively priced market premium (Professorial scale)
- Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Assistant/Associate Professor) - Salary range from British Pound 31,948 - 52,706 with an additional significant and competitively priced market premium
