Faculty Positions in Finance

Together with its partner universities, the Swiss Finance Institute is seeking to recruit Full, Associate or Tenure Track Assistant Professors in Finance for appointments starting as early as Fall 2013. Interviews will be conducted at the 2013 Allied Social Science Associations (ASSA) Meetings in San Diego or at the recruiting university. Applications from all areas of finance are welcome.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: We stress excellence in research and in teaching at the undergraduate, Master and/or Ph.D. levels. Candidates should have a Ph.D., or expect to complete a Ph.D. in the near future, and should demonstrate the potential for outstanding achievement in research or teaching.

ABOUT THE SWISS FINANCE INSTITUTE: Swiss Finance Institute is a private foundation created in 2006 by Switzerland's banking and finance community and leading Swiss universities. The institute aims to support and advance research, doctoral training, and executive education in the banking and finance sector and organize activities which bring researchers and practitioners together.

The institute is supported by the Swiss banks, the Swiss Stock Exchange (SIX), Swiss universities, and the federal government, which are represented on the Foundation Board. The Swiss Finance Institute operates on 3 campuses (Leman, Lugano, Zurich) with the participation of the Universities of Geneva, Lausanne, Lugano, Zurich, the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich).
