Assistant Professors and Post-Doc in Finance

The Finance section at the School of Business at Stockholm University invites applications for Assistant Professor positions, and a position as Post-Doc Research Fellow. All positions commence no later than September 2013.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should (no later than September 2013) have completed a PhD in Finance or related discipline. Furthermore, successful applicants should have published articles in refereed journals relevant to the finance area and have proven teaching skills at the college or university level. The positions are general, but the department is especially interested in candidates with research interests in one or more of the following areas: Asset Pricing, Market Microstructure, Derivatives, and Portfolio Choice.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Assistant Professor positions are funded by a stipend for three years, which possibly can be extended for an additional three years, with low teaching load. The Post Doc position is funded for two years and the teaching load is at a minimum. The positions are not tenure-track positions, but tenure positions are regularly advertised at the department and non-tenured researchers are encouraged to apply.
