In order to strengthen its academic faculty, enhance its international status, fulfill teaching and research activities in finance, and open new fields of research, the School of Management at Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia is seeking candidates for full-time faculty positions in Finance: Corporate Finance, Investments, Risk Management, Financial Econometrics, Capital Markets, Accounting and related fields.
Faculty Positions in Finance
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to faculty with a strong commitment to research, and willingness to participate in the design, delivery and assessment of courses at graduate and undergraduate level. All candidates must hold a PhD in finance, economics, management or related fields. ABD candidates will be considered upon completion of the PhD by May 2013. Associate level candidates must show publication record in indexed peer reviewed journals. Rank and salary are dependent upon qualifications and experience.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY: Universidad de los Andes is a private university founded in 1948. It is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious institution of recognized academic excellence and leadership in Colombia and Latin America. Currently, the University has approximately 17,000 students: 75% are undergraduate and 25% are graduate students. They are enrolled in 31 undergraduate, 76 master and 18 doctoral programs distributed in nine schools.
