Faculty Position in Finance

The Graduate School of International Management (GSIM) at the International University of Japan invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the area of Finance at the Associate or Full Professor Level. The starting date is either April 2013 (Preferred) or September 2013.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Finance or Financial Economics; have a demonstrated research record; be capable of teaching Executive courses as well as MBA-level courses in English; and have the capability to teach Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions plus one related elective course. Previous industry experience is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION: A contract-based compensation is commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience will be given in line with IUJ Faculty Hiring Guidelines, which are competitive within the Japanese academic market. The teaching load is three courses per academic year (total 90 contact hours). GSIM offers research funding. The school subscribes to major U.S./Japanese financial databases such as Compustat, Datastream, etc.
