Professor/Associate Professor in Macroeconomics (Education and Research) (Ref: P48521)

Appointments will be made in the following salary ranges below depending on qualifications and experience:
- Associate Professor - British Pound 54,043 to 68,087 per annum
- Professor - Competitive salary reflecting qualifications and experience

The above full time permanent post is available from the 1st September 2016 in the University of Exeter Business School.

Of crucial importance to the achievements of the University of Exeter Business School is the continued success of its Department of Economics. With this in mind we are currently recruiting for a Professor/Associate Professor in Economics (with research and teaching interests in Macroeconomics). We are seeking to appoint to a number of posts and offer the opportunity to build a research team around the Professor/Associate Professor appointment to augment our strong junior faculty in the area. The successful candidate will join our excellent and well-supported community of internationally recognised academics that play a pivotal role in developing a vibrant research culture within the School.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidates will have a PhD in Macroeconomics or other applied/empirical fields. At Professor level they will be a leading international authority in macroeconomics and have a demonstrable track record of leading research with high impact. For the Associate Professor level they will be a leading authority in Macroeconomics with an international reputation and have a demonstrable track record of conducting research with high impact.
