The Department of Economics invites applications for one opening at the level of assistant professor in the area of labor economics.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have completed (or expect to complete prior to appointment) a Ph.D. in Economics, outstanding research potential in labor economics, and the capacity to supervise Ph.D. student research. Successful candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in labor economics. Preference will be given to candidates who have interests in the labor-market impact of major federal programs, such as job training and social insurance programs. The school/department seeks candidates whose research, teaching, or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion in higher education. The search begins immediately and will remain open until the position is filled.
