Professor of Public Economics

The University of St. Gallen, Switzerland - a leading university in Management, Economics, Law, Social Sciences and International Affairs - invites applications for a position as Professor of Public Economics by February 1, 2014 or by mutual agreement.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The successful applicant has an excellent publication record in any field of Public Economics and a high level of teaching competence. Furthermore, she/he should have an interest in economic policy.

JOB DESCRIPTION; Teaching responsibilities are within the "Economics" and "International Affairs" programs at all levels (Bachelor, Master and PhD programs).

The appointment status of the position, full professor or tenure-track assistant professor, will be determined by the successful candidate's qualification. Applications for a tenure-track position are considered for candidates with some teaching experience and excellent publications. The University is actively seeking to increase the number of female and international scholars among the faculty.
