We are pleased to announce the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation has started an Economics Research Centers Papers series within the Economics Research Network (ERN).

The series collects research funded through the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation's Research Program on Economic Institutions, Behavior and Performance. Since 2008, this program has granted tens of millions of dollars for original economic research in four basic areas.

SSRN's objective is to provide rapid, worldwide distribution of research to authors and their readers and to facilitate communication among them at the lowest possible cost. In pursuit of this objective, we allow authors to upload papers without charge. And, any paper an author uploads to SSRN is downloadable for free, worldwide.
