Faculty Positions in Accounting

The University of Alabama, Culverhouse School of Accountancy, invites applications for two tenure-track appointments at the assistant professor level beginning August 16, 2013.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have an earned doctorate (or expect to complete their doctorate by August 16, 2013) and exhibit the capacity for research publishable in top-tier accounting journals, and excellence in teaching. The faculty member can expect to teach undergraduate and graduate level accounting courses, though current needs are driven by increasing graduate enrollment. The faculty member will have the ability to work with doctoral students, will have an interest in teaching in the MBA program, and will engage in University, College, and Departmental service activities. We welcome applications in all areas of accounting research and teaching. Salary is Competitive.
