Call for Papers
2013 UTS Emerging Accounting Researcher Consortium

4-5 February 2013, Sydney, Australia

Applications are invited for submission of papers for the 2-day Emerging Accounting Researcher Consortium being conducted by Professor Stephen Penman, Columbia University. There will be a special session on both days of the Consortium to allow selected emerging researchers and PhD students to present their work-in-progress.

Those interested in presenting their work are encouraged to make submissions as soon as possible, but no later than 31 October 2012. Authors of selected early stage papers will be advised no later than 20 November. Submissions are invited in any area of accounting.

FUNDING: The UTS Accounting Discipline Group will provide financial support for presenters of selected papers. This support will typically cover a return economy airfare from their home city to Sydney, Australia and three nights' accommodation.

Those attending the Emerging Accounting Researcher Consortium may consider attending the UTS Australian Summer Accounting Symposium which is being held on 6-7 February 2013.

ABOUT THE AREA: UTS Business School is located at the southern fringe of Sydney's central business district, adjacent to the Darling Harbour tourist precinct. It is close to a wide variety of hotel and apartment accommodation, as well as excellent public transport access to beaches and other tourist attractions.
