ZEW - Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research Discussion Paper Series

The ZEW - Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research in Mannheim is a non-profit and independent institute with the legal form of a limited liability company (GmbH). The ZEW is a member of the Leibniz Association. Founded in 1990 on the basis of a public-private initiative of the State of Baden-Württemberg in cooperation with the University of Mannheim, the ZEW is one of the leading economic research institutes in Germany and enjoys a high reputation throughout Europe. ZEW researchers participate in scientific debates by publishing their papers. Most of the papers are published in English. English abstracts are available for German papers. The papers are intended for final publication in special interest titles. The discussion papers can be downloaded as PDF files from SSRN since 2000.
