The UK in a Changing Europe working paper series showcases the latest upcoming academic research findings and analysis from social scientists working on the implications of Brexit across a range of fields from politics and economics to the environment and migration.
It offers an opportunity to promote new academic research findings to a diverse audience of fellow researchers across the social sciences, from policy makers to journalists and commentators.
UK in a Changing Europe (UKICE) is a UK-wide network of academics and researchers coordinated from King’s College London. We promote high-quality and independent social science research on the broad theme of Brexit and its consequences.
Our work includes politics and society, economics, law, governance and the constitution, the UK in the world, and UK-EU relations. We present research findings through events, workshops, debates, talks, briefing papers, reports, blogs, social media, and via the press. Our work is tailored to be easily accessible to policy makers, businesses, journalists, civil society organisations, educational institutions, and the general public. UKICE is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), part of UK Research and Innovation.
