Sustainable Transport Special Topic Hub

SSRN’s Sustainable Transport Special Topic Hub provides a curated view into early-stage research addressing the need for transportation that is environmentally friendly, affordable, safe, accessible, and reliable. Transport is essential to economic and social development by providing an infrastructure that facilitates global trade and connects people to jobs, education, health care, markets and goods, and other humans, but we must break our dependance on fossil fuels and create low-carbon transportation systems that are grounded in renewable energy sources. This special topic hub presents insights from many disciplines that may inform the ongoing conversation about the provision of transport that is cleaner and more sustainable while enhancing connectivity, economic growth, social welfare, and trade.

SSRN, Elsevier’s world-leading preprint platform devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of early-stage research, is committed to advancing societal progress through quality knowledge and education. Research on SSRN is free to download and upload.
