The RAND Corporation is a nonprofit institution that helps improve policy and decisionmaking through research and analysis. For 60 years, decisionmakers in the public and private sectors have turned to the RAND Corporation for objective analysis and effective solutions that address the challenges facing the nation and the world.
The RAND working papers are intended to share the authors' latest research findings and solicit informal review. They have been reviewed by the management but typically have not been edited or undergone RAND's formal technical review process. This Law, Labor, and Health working paper series is a collaboration of three business units within RAND: RAND Institute for Civil Justice, including the Kauffman-RAND Institute for Entrepreneurship Public Policy; RAND Labor and Population; and RAND Health, including the Bing Center for Health Economics.
All RAND working papers appear in the Economic Research Network, and papers regarding entrepreneurship will also appear in the Entrepreneurship Research & Policy Network.
