First Look of the Journal of Business Research is an author opt-in preview of papers that are undergoing peer review in the Journal of Business Research. These papers are posted here while undergoing review and their status will be updated once this has been completed. The aim behind the Journal of Business Research First Look page is to: Provide a venue for Journal of Business Research's authors to host preprints of their work; Allow authors to showcase their research results p'rior to review and publication, thus aiming to speed up the dissemination process; Provide readers with an insight into groundbreaking work before it has been published as well as allow them to post comments on the work. The Journal of Business Research applies theory developed from business research to actual business situations. Recognizing the intricate relationships between the many areas of business activity, the Journal of Business Research examines a wide variety of business decisions, processes and activities within the actual business setting. Theoretical and empirical advances in buyer behavior, finance, organizational theory and behavior, marketing, risk and insurance and international business are evaluated on a regular basis. Published for executives, researchers and scholars alike, the Journal aids the application of empirical research to practical situations and theoretical findings to the reality of the business world.
