We are pleased to announce that Scientific African has joined the First Look program as SSRN's newest journal partner. Scientific African is a peer reviewed, open access, inter- and multidisciplinary scientific journal dedicated to expanding access to African research, increasing intra-African scientific collaboration, and building academic research capacity in Africa. The journal aims to provide a modern, highly-visible platform for publishing pan-African research, and welcomes submissions from all scientific disciplines in the broad categories of: Agriculture and Food Security, Chemistry, Conservation and Sustainability Studies, Economics and Business, Environmental and Geosciences, Information Technology and Engineering, Life and Health Sciences, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences and Policy.
As part of the journal's ongoing commitment to rapid publication they are delighted to be involved in SSRN's First Look program, an author opt-in preview of the papers currently under consideration by the journal. These preprints are posted to SSRN prior to peer review and their status will be updated once the review process has been completed.
