In cooperation with Norwegian University of Science & Technology, the Materials Science Research Network (MatSciRN) is pleased to announce the Silicon for the Chemical & Solar Industry XVII (SCSI-2024) eJournal. This eJournal is available to all subscribers at no charge and contains abstracts of the meeting papers with links to the full text in the SSRN eLibrary.

The Silicon for the Chemical and Solar Industry conference focuses on the various sides of producing primary silicon, from natural raw materials to its application in the chemical and solar industries. It's a technical conference for the production and application processes, focused on environmental progresses. Within the sustainability area, the use of biocarbon and recycling are among other themes presented. Other applications of silicon, including thermal energy storage materials and batteries, are also covered.
