In cooperation with Norwegian University of Science & Technology, the Materials Science Research Network (MatSciRN) is pleased to announce the Silicon for the Chemical & Solar Industry XVI (SCSI-2022) eJournal. This eJournal is available to all subscribers at no charge and contains abstracts of the meeting papers with links to the full text in the SSRN eLibrary.
 
Silicon for the Chemical & Solar Industry XVI (SCSI-2022) Logo
The Silicon for the Chemical and Solar Industry Conference is, as the name indicates, focused on industrial aspects of both silicon production and the application of silicon. It also includes research on new processes and applications like the use of silicon in batteries as well as thermal energy storage units.

The global driver, both industrially and research-wise, is the reduction of CO2 emissions. This is the focus of the Silicon for the Chemical and Solar Industry Conference 2022. Sustainability in all parts of the silicon product chain is discussed. This includes future solutions for the use of hydrogen to existing solutions like the use of biocarbon.
