Full-Time, Tenure-Track and Clinical-Track Faculty Positions - Law
The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law invites applications for one tenure-track position and two clinical-track faculty positions.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS: The tenure-track position will begin in Fall 2018, and our primary areas of need are criminal law and criminal procedure, legal writing, and race and the law. Secondary areas of need are alternative dispute resolution, antitrust, banking and insurance law, business law (including business associations and securities regulation), civil procedure, commercial law, employment and labor law, evidence, law and technology, natural resources (e.g., water, wildlife, energy, oil and gas, mining, land use), poverty/social welfare law, professional responsibility, torts, and wills & trusts. For our clinical-track positions, we are seeking one faculty member to teach in our first-year legal research, analysis, and writing program, beginning Fall 2018, and one faculty member to teach in our Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic, beginning November 2017.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: For all positions, a J.D. (or the equivalent) is required. Professors appointed to the clinical track must also be admitted to the Ohio Bar or be eligible for admission in Ohio, and demonstrate strong potential in all relevant areas of clinical or skills teaching.
