Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance

Job Description & Qualification

The John B. and Lillian E. Neff Department of Finance at The University of Toledo invites applications for two positions of one-year Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning August, 2019.

Candidates must be an AACSB scholarly academic with an ability to teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses. Applicant screening will begin in May 2019 and will continue until the position is filled. Candidates who received their Ph.D five or more years earlier must have published at least two quality refereed journal articles in finance or a related area in the past five years. ABDs expecting to complete their Ph.D by August, 2019 are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant must have a Ph.D from an AACSB-accredited institution. Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.

Student centeredness and excellent teaching skills are required.
