Job Description & Qualification

The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder invites applications for a non-tenure-track instructor position to teach auditing at the undergraduate and masters levels beginning August 2019. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and based on the University of Colorado pay scale.

Candidates must have a master’s degree or equivalent and appropriate professional work experience/certification (e.g., CPA), with strong preference given to candidates with a terminal degree (e.g., PhD, DBA) in accounting or a related field, or nearing completion of a terminal degree. Candidates must have expertise or evident potential in providing quality teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated a) a strong commitment to curriculum development, b) prior teaching success, c) a desire to engage positively with students, other faculty, and professionals, and d) collegiality and teamwork. Job responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and masters level courses in auditing, and engaging in service activities within the school.
