Job Description & Qualification

The Department of Accounting within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure track Visiting Faculty Position in Accounting at the level of Visiting Assistant, Associate or Full Professor starting August 21, 2019. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Applicants must be available to teach in the 2019 fall semester. This position is benefit eligible.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appropriate background checks (e.g. criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted.

Education Requirement
An earned doctorate or strong evidence that the doctoral degree will be completed before August 21, 2019.

Required Qualifications
Evidence of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Demonstrated interest in and capacity to do research publishable in top-tier accounting journals.

Desirable Qualifications
We particularly seek candidates who have taught financial accounting at the undergraduate level.
