Assistant Professor of Accounting

Job Description & Qualification

KENT STATE UNIVERSITY, Department of Accounting, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2019. Experienced assistant professors are encouraged to apply. Candidates in all areas of accounting research and teaching interest will be considered, especially those with a teaching/research emphasis in financial accounting and/or auditing.

Candidates must have completed or nearly completed a doctoral degree in accounting, exhibit potential for publishing in top academic journals, and provide evidence of effective teaching. Professional certification is desirable. Participation in the Ph.D. program will be part of the faculty member’s responsibilities.
