Job Description & Qualification

The Finance Division of the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma, is in an ambitious, multi-year period of growth and renewal. As part of this expansion, applications and nominations are invited for a full-time position as Associate or Full Professor of Finance beginning August 2019. To be considered for this position, all candidates must have the Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, a strong publication record, an international reputation for high quality research especially in investments or risk management, and superior teaching skills. Candidates who have research interests in energy finance and related fields are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to provide leadership for the Division’s initiatives in risk management and/or energy finance, including the biennial University of Oklahoma Energy and Commodities Finance Research Conference. Experience in undertaking grant-funded research will be an added benefit. The appointment will be made at the level of associate or full professor, and will include an endowed chair for suitably qualified candidates. Salary will be competitive.
