Turku School of Economics, department of Accounting and Finance, opens a position of
Postdoctoral Researcher for fixed-term Jan 1st 2024 (or by agreement) – December 31st 2027

Job description
The duties of the Postdoctoral Researcher comprise independent scientific research in the field of financial accounting. The duties also comprise teaching and supervision in the field of accounting and finance. The Postdoctoral Researcher participates in the planning of researcher projects in co-operation with other researchers, and takes part in administrative duties.

Who we are looking for
By opening the position of Postdoctoral Researcher, we aim to promote the research career of those who have recently completed their doctoral degree. A person selected for the position of a Postdoctoral Researcher shall have an appropriate doctoral degree in accounting or accounting & finance, successfully completed by the end of the application period, but no more than five (5) years since the completion of the degree.

A successful candidate will be expected to have a proven track record of independent and high-quality scientific work in the field of financial accounting. Successful applicants have strong research orientation and fluency in English.

-you have previous experience on supervision and teaching in methodological courses
