Assistant Professor in Finance, Risk and Banking
Location: Jubilee Campus
Salary: £39,592 to £54,421 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Finance, Risk and Banking areas. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant discipline (or be close to completion). The person appointed will be expected to engage in high quality research and teaching in these subject areas, contributing to programmes offered by the School at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, MBA and PhD levels.
Some tangible evidence of publications in top peer reviewed international journals together with a pipeline of research papers strongly demonstrating the potential for publications in 4*/4 rated journals in any area of Finance and/or Risk and/or Banking are requirements.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to supervise Undergraduate, Postgraduate, MBA and PhD students, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team. They will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.
These roles are available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours).
