Assistant Professor of Finance

Job Description & Qualification

The Department of Finance in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech anticipates one or more openings for a tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2023. This position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Conduct and publish top quality research in Finance. Participate in departmental, college and university committees. Advise and mentor students.
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Finance or a related field by August 10,2023 and be committed to the pursuit of high-quality research and teaching excellence. Candidates should show evidence of research with publications or demonstrate promise to publish in top-tier Finance journals.
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
