Assistant Professor of Law

The Cleveland-Marshall College of Law invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Law position for the 2023-2024 academic year, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: cybersecurity, data privacy, and data ethics. Duties would begin on August 14, 2023. Duties will include teaching, scholarly research and writing, working with the Center for Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection, and ordinary committee service.

- J.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree with a distinguished academic record by July 1, 2023; and
- Evidence of potential for significant scholarly achievement and teaching ability

- J.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree with an outstanding academic record, including law review, judicial clerkship, and significant practical experience;
- Excellent record of scholarly research, including funded research and publication;
- Experience developing and administering online courses and programs. Our principal curricular needs for this position are cybersecurity, data privacy, and data ethics.
- The ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the intellectual and academic diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the university community.
