Job Description & Qualification
HEC Lausanne (the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne) invites applications for a position full time as Assistant Professor (Tenure Track as Associate Professor) in Finance.
Starting on August 1, 2023, or on a mutually agreed date.
Candidates must hold a PhD in Finance or a related discipline. They should have an excellent research and publication record in the field of finance and economics. Candidates should have teaching experience at university level (Bachelor and Master). Successful candidates will be expected to be able to teach in French and English after six years. In line with the strategy of the Faculty, preference will be given to candidates who do research and teach on topics connected to sustainability. All research methods are welcome. The new professor will be a member of the Department of Finance at HEC Lausanne. Excellence in teaching and research is very important for us. Members of the department have published in top tier journals such as the JF, JFE, RFS, and many more. We offer attractive teaching loads and an excellent research environment.
