Job Description & Qualification
The Department of Finance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Lee Business School invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Finance. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to effective teaching, research and preparing students for success in a multicultural business environment. The duties of this full-time position are comprised of a balance of teaching, research, and service including:
• Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels including our new Master of Science in Quantitative Finance (MSQF) program. Typical load: three courses per academic year.
• Conducting high-quality financial research leading to publications in recognized journals.
• Performing appropriate departmental and college service activities.
• Candidates with research interests in all areas of finance are encouraged to apply.
