Assistant Professor and an open rank appointment (i.e., Assistant, Associate or Full Professor)

Job Description & Qualification

Job Duties for both positions include research, teaching, and service to the university and profession.
The research interests of our faculty are mainly in archival empirical research in accounting.
Compensation and support for research activities are competitive.

Assistant Professor candidates must hold a PhD or be close to completion of a PhD.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong potential in conducting scholarly research, in teaching ability, and in effective interaction with faculty colleagues, students, staff, and external constituents. Seasoned Assistant Professors are also encouraged to apply.
Note: Candidates who have not yet conferred their degree will be appointed as an Instructor until the semester following the PhD conferral.

Candidates who would like to be considered for an Associate or Full Professor position must hold a PhD or equivalent in accounting or closely related field.

A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong record of scholarly research with potential for continued success, high quality teaching, and effective interaction with faculty colleagues, students, staff, and external constituents.
