Associate Professor Position in Accounting (with Tenure)

The Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the area of accounting. The appointment will be made at the rank of associate professor (with tenure) to begin on July 1, 2023. The successful candidate is expected to produce high-quality research in the area of accounting that results in publications in top journals in the field.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in accounting or related field and an established record of excellence in scholarly research and teaching. Applicants should have a strong commitment to undergraduate, master’s and Ph.D. education a strong research agenda and will be expected to take an active role in mentoring Ph.D. students. Applicants should also have a commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive academic community.
