Job Description & Qualification

The Area of Finance invites applications for two non-tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice positions beginning Fall 2022. Course load will be 18 credit hours per year with teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level. Salary and support are competitive. There may also be opportunities for additional (overload) teaching in the 9-month academic year and summer for extra compensation.

Preferred candidates will have a Ph.D. in Finance (or closely related discipline) before the start date of this position.

Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching in both online and face-to-face modalities. An active research program suitable for maintaining AACSB scholarly academic qualifications is preferred. Service to the department, college, and university is expected (commensurate with rank). Service duties include program-building, as well as commitment to student organizations and other extra-curricular activities. Texas Tech University is a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI).
