Conference Announcement and Call for Papers

1st International Conference on ‘Infrastructure Development (ICID): Theory, Practice and Policy’.
Theme: Sustainability and Resilience | 29th to 30th April 2021 (Virtual Mode)

The Infrastructure Sector is responsible for driving the economic growth of the country. With this as the core idea, and to bring the researchers, practitioners, academicians, and policymakers from this domain together, the Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management (AIIM), Ahmedabad (India) (( will be organizing the 1st International Conference on ‘Infrastructure Development (ICID): Theory, Practice and Policy’. The conference will offer a unique platform to the participants to interact with eminent speakers from India and abroad who will be invited for keynote speeches and panel discussions. Young researchers will get an opportunity to present their work before the panel of experts and get constructive feedback.

We invite original research papers/practice papers of 4000 to 6000 words for each of the following tracks with core theme on sustainability and resilience:

Track 1: Social Infrastructure and Sustainability
Track 2: Transportation and Mobility Systems
Track 3: Sustainable Urban and Real Estate infrastructure
Track 4: Energy and Green Infrastructure
Track 5: Financing Sustainable Infrastructure
Track 6: Infrastructure Law and regulation

All papers will go through a review process. Please do not submit papers which are identical or significantly similar to a work already published, under review for conference or publication.

Important Dates

Deadline for paper submission: March 15, 2021
Paper review decision: March 31, 2021
Last date of submission of revised paper: April 12, 2021

Publication Opportunities

• Abstracts of all papers presented in the conference will be published in an edited volume of conference proceedings with an ISBN Number.
• Select manuscripts (based on the blind peer review) will be published in a Compendium which will include invited contributions (articles, perceptions, policy analysis, perspectives) from eminent experts from industry and academia.
• The best paper in each track will be awarded with a cash prize of INR. 25,000.
