Dear Professors, Researchers, and Colleagues, 

This year’s theme is “Climate Change, Energy Policy and Entrepreneurs”, aims to create a forum for academics, doctoral students, and practitioners to present and discuss current and novel research on public policies, energy policies, climate change and other economic issues. The Journal of Financial Regulation and Compliance (SCOPUS indexed) agrees to consider good-quality papers presented in the conference for a Special Issue. The scientific and organizing committees welcome submissions in all areas of economics at the conference no later than March 30th, 2020. The topics include, but not limited to:

Energy and climate change; Energy transition; Energy and macroeconomics; Energy and finance; Energy and business; Energy policies; Energy and Big Data; Labour Economics; Regional Studies; Regional Policies; Banking; Finance; Public Policy and Entrepreneurship; Public Policy and Corporate Finance; Public policy and Banks; Patent laws; The role of entrepreneurs
Laws and entrepreneurship; Tax policy; Subsidies policy; Fiscal policy; Sustainability; Economics

We are welcoming both theoretical and empirical research papers on various topics. See the Call for Papers for more details on the potential topics.

Dr Ivan Diaz-Rainey, Director of the Climate and Energy Finance Group (CEFGroup), Associate Editor of the Journal of Financial Regulation and Compliance, Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Otago.

Interested authors can submit their research papers (in PDF files), no later than March 30th, 2020 via the conference website 

We will select three best-quality articles. The top article will receive a $500 award in cash and one of the three excursions organized by Saigon Tourist : 

Half day Morning City tour
Half day Cu Chi tunnels
Dinner Cruise & Water Puppet show
The next two best papers are awarded one of the three excursions above, organized by Saigon Tourist

Associated Journals
Papers presented at the conference will be published in an online Handbook with e-ISBN or e-proceeding. Besides, qualified papers will have a chance to submit to one of our associated journals.

Journal of Financial Regulation and Compliance (SCOPUS indexed)

Paper submitted to the conference addressing issues related to financial regulation and banking can be considered for The Journal of Financial Regulation and Compliance (JFRC). Associate Editor of JFRC, Ivan Diaz-Rainey, can provide guidance at the conference to those interested in publishing in the journal
