Following the successes of the previous fifteen conferences, Olin Business School at Washington University and its Wells Fargo Advisors Center for Finance and Accounting Research (WFA-CFAR) will be co-hosting the 16th annual conference on Corporate Finance and Financial Intermediation, November 22-23rd, at the Washington University in St. Louis campus.

The topics of interest for the conference are broad, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate control and organization, international issues in corporate finance, capital structure, payout decisions, corporate investment decisions, corporate governance, financial intermediation, and banking. This is not an exhaustive list, and empirical and theoretical papers on these, as well as related topics, are most welcome.

This year’s conference will also include a special session on “Debt Structure: Covenants and Collateral”. Confirmed speakers in this special session include Patrick Bolton (Columbia) and Michael Roberts (Wharton).

If you wish to have your paper considered for presentation at the conference, please submit the paper electronically by June 1, 2019, to the website:
