Hawai'i Accounting Research Conference-2020 (HARC-2020)

The Hawai'i Accounting Research Conference (HARC) is an annual global accounting conference organized by the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa (UHM). The conference will provide a venue that is both enjoyable and affordable for attendees to engage in lively discussions about intellectually stimulating accounting research.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Christine Ann Botosan, Board member for the Financial Accounting Standards Board. Prior to joining the Board, Dr. Botosan was a professor of accounting at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She also served as the President of the American Accounting Association from 2014–2015.

REGISTRATION FEES:
$100 PhD Students
$350 Presenters/Discussants
$400 General Registration

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited to 250 people.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Only high quality papers will be accepted for presentation at HARC-2020. Papers selected for Plenary Session will be considered for publication in the Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance. ACCOMMODATIONS:
- Limited small apartments on campus are available from January 1st to 7th for $58.00 per night on a first-come, first-served basis. Their availability will be confirmed by mid-June 2019. Early registration is strongly encouraged to secure campus housing.
