Description

You are invited to submit papers to be considered for presentation at the 32nd Finance Forum, the Annual Meeting of the Spanish Finance Association (AEFIN), to be held July 2-4, 2025, at the Public University of Navarre, Pamplona, Spain. We are planning to host the conference entirely in person.

The SUBMISSION DEADLINE is February 16, 2025, at 11:59 PM CET.

The Finance Forum will take place at the Public University of Navarre (Campus Arrosadía situated in Pamplona) on July 3-4, 2025. We are honored to announce Professor Turan G. Bali (Georgetown University) and Professor Philipp Schnabl (New York University) as the keynote speakers.

The Finance Forum will also feature a PhD Mentoring Day on July 2nd (the day before the conference), where PhD students will present their research and receive feedback from top specialists in their fields. Moreover, students will benefit from the valuable advice from the invited professors Diana Bonfim (Banco de Portugal and Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics) and Fernando Zapatero (Questrom School of Business at Boston University). AEFIN will provide 16 scholarships for the best papers of the PhD Mentoring Day covering the registration fee to the Finance Forum plus the accommodation.

The Finance Forum and the PhD Mentoring Day invite submissions in all areas of Financial Economics research, such as (but not limited to): Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance, Banking, Portfolio Choice and Asset Management, Microstructure, Regulation, Financial Stability and Macrofinance. PhD students can submit to both the Finance Forum and the PhD Mentoring Day.

IMPORTANT DATES
• Paper Submission Deadline: February 16, 2025
• Paper Acceptance Decision: March 30, 2025
• Early Registration: April 1 – April 30, 2025
• Late Registration: May 1 – June 30, 2025
• PhD Mentoring Day: July 2, 2025
• Finance Forum: July 3 – 4, 2025

SUBMISSION AND CONFERENCE WEBSITE
Submission will be done through Conference Maker-32nd Finance Forum.
There is a single 50 € fee per paper submitted to the Finance Forum. No papers will be processed without the payment. Submitting more than one paper implies payment for each paper.
Submissions to the PhD Mentoring Day and single author papers submitted by PhD students to the 32nd Finance Forum are exempt from submission fees. To apply this exemption it is necessary to send a PhD certificate to 32financeforum@unavarra.es.
