In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the CCPF is hosting a special theme conference to promote comparative studies that advance our understanding of finance in cross-country contexts. We invite theoretical and empirical paper submissions on topics including credit, banking, asset pricing, market liquidity, corporate finance, corporate governance, behavioral finance, sustainable finance, fintech, and entrepreneurial finance, all within an international framework.
Paper Submission
The 2025 CCPF Conference will follow a two-stage process to ensure high-quality contributions to the special theme publication:
First Stage: Submit a two-page research proposal by March 30, 2025, for review by the guest editors. Selected proposals will be invited for presentation (online and onsite) at the first-stage conference in Taiyuan, China, June 27–29, 2025. A full working paper must be submitted by May 31, 2025, to allow adequate time for the discussant to prepare a review. Sponsored by the School of Economics and Management at Shanxi University.
Second Stage: The CCPF Scientific Committee will select papers presented in June for further development (notification by July 31, 2025). Authors of shortlisted papers will revise their manuscript based on the discussant’s report and comments from the June meeting and will then present the Special Theme Symposium (online and onsite) in beautiful and tropical Sanya, China, December 12-14, 2025. Sponsored by the School of Finance at Nanjing Agricultural University.
Publication Opportunities
Symposium papers will be considered for publication in leading (SSCI) journals, including:
Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money

The revise-and-resubmit process will begin on February 1, 2026, with final acceptance notifications issued in Summer/Fall 2026.
