The Accounting and Finance group at the University of Edinburgh Business School is delighted to host the Sixth Edinburgh Corporate Finance Conference 2025 with the support of AFFECT (Academic Female Finance Committee of the American Finance Association) and Elsevier. The conference will be at the highest quality level with 9 papers in 3 plenary sessions with discussants (30+10+5min) and 10 papers in 2 speedy presentation sessions without discussants (10+5min) over a day and one-half. The conference will be held at the Edinburgh Futures Institute in central Edinburgh on the 12th and 13th of June 2025.

Paper Selection Process: For this conference, we are soliciting papers, both theoretical and empirical, in the area of corporate finance. We especially encourage submissions authored by underrepresented groups in academic finance (women, people of colour, people of diverse gender identities and sexual orientation, etc). For the latest statistics on representation, please refer to Figure 3 (p. 9) in the AFA Professional Climate Report. (Please note that these are the only statistics available at this time and they may not be reflective of underrepresentation in other geographical regions or for other subgroups, therefore we offer them only as illustrative and not a definitive set of guidelines.)
