65th WCARS Conference, "Everything Is AI Now"

Description
We are delighted to announce the theme for the 65th World Continuous Audit and Reporting Symposium
(WCARS), "Everything is AI Now". Submissions are now open for papers exploring AI's transformative potential in
accounting and auditing practices across a wide range of topics including, but not limited to:
• Predictive and prescriptive analytics in auditing
• AI-driven continuous auditing
• Generative AI in financial reporting
• AI for enhanced risk assessment
• Advanced AI techniques for fraud detection
• AI and ethical standards in accounting
• Integration of AI with blockchain for auditing
Initial proposals are limited to five single-spaced pages of text, excluding references, tables, and figures. All types
of research designs and methodologies are welcome. Full papers are also welcome. Selected papers from the
conference will be considered for publication in a special section of the Journal of Emerging Technologies in
Accounting (JETA).
