Description
The Financial Management & Accounting Research Conference (FMARC) 2025 seeks submissions of excellent research papers for presentation at this high-profile event, to be held in Cyprus from May 25 to May 27, 2025.
Jointly organized by the Cyprus University of Technology and King’s College London, and supported by Durham university, FMARC 2025 aims to gather outstanding contributions in finance, accounting, and related fields, showcasing cutting-edge theoretical and empirical research. The conference will feature academic sessions, keynote speeches from world-renowned experts, a Doctoral Colloquium and Mentoring session, and a variety of social events designed to foster collaboration and networking.
The Doctoral Colloquium and Mentoring, scheduled for May 24, 2025, is a dedicated session for doctoral students specializing in finance and accounting. It provides an opportunity for students to present their work, receive targeted, constructive feedback, and gain valuable career development advice from distinguished mentors. The session will accommodate both long-format presentations for completed working papers and pitching-style presentations
for students with incomplete papers or those in the early stages of their research.

Publication Opportunities
Selected papers presented at the conference will be invited for submission to a special track in Accounting and Business Research (ABR). The FMARC-ABR Special Track will consider high-quality papers for potential publication, and the submission fee will be waived for selected papers.

Submission Deadline: Monday, January 13, 2025
Notification of Acceptance: Friday, February 28, 2025
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit their papers electronically following the guidelines on the conference website: www.fmarc.eu.
Submissions will undergo a thorough review by the scientific committee, which will assess them based on novelty, quality, and scholarly impact. The conference chairs will then select papers, guided by the committee's evaluations, that offer important and distinct contributions to the finance and accounting literature.
Doctoral Students with completed working papers or job market papers are invited to submit for long-format presentations. Those with incomplete papers or early-stage research may submit an extensive abstract for pitching-style presentations. Submissions to the Doctoral Colloquium and Mentoring will be reviewed by the panel of mentors, and selected participants will be invited to present their work at the session.
