The Friends of Women in Finance 3rd Symposium in Greater New York (FWFS-GNY)

05 Dec 2024, Pace University, 1 Pace Plaza, New York City, New York, USA

The Friends of Women in Finance Symposium in Greater New York (FWFS-GNY) supports the research and networking of friends of women in GNY finance academia. We are delighted to announce that the 3rd Symposium will be held on December 5, 2024, at Pace University in New York City.

We invite submissions of completed papers or long abstracts in corporate finance, governance, markets, investments, financial markets and institutions, climate and sustainable finance, and social and behavioral finance. We expect to hold two formal paper presentations followed by a few break-out sessions. Breakout sessions are a unique aspect of this Symposium. Each breakout session will be chaired by a senior faculty member. Papers that were not selected in the main program may be discussed during the breakout sessions. We hope that Symposium participants will benefit from mentorship and networking opportunities in this more intimate gathering.
