The Financial Services Innovation Lab at Scheller College of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta are co-organizing the 3rd Household Finance Conference on March 27-28, 2025.

This conference will be held in person in Atlanta and aims to bring together
researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to explore and discuss the latest developments in household finance.

Keynote Speaker:
Jonathan Parker, Robert C. Merton (1970) Professor of Finance, co-director of the MIT Sloan Consumer Finance Initiative, and co-director of the MIT Golub Center for Finance and Policy.

Conference Topics:
We invite submissions of high-quality empirical, theoretical, and policy related research papers that cover a broad spectrum of topics related to household finance, including but not limited to:
- Household financial decision-making
- Inflation and consumer spending
- Impact of AI and ML model adoption on consumers
- Savings and investment behavior
- Retirement decisions and choices
- Housing and mortgage markets
- Credit access and debt management
- Impact of Fintech innovation and adoption
- Behavioral economics and household finance
- Disparities in credit access
- Household wealth and inequality
- Entrepreneurship
- Small business lending

Young Scholars Session:
The conference includes a "Young Scholars' Session" comprising papers where all the authors are PhD students. Georgia Tech Financial Services Innovation Lab will award a prize of $1,500 for the best paper in the Young Scholars session and reimburse reasonable travel expenses for the presenting authors of the papers selected for the Young Scholars session.

Submission Guidelines:
Authors are invited to submit their papers by November 18, 2024, 11.59 PM EST.

Paper Submission Format: All submissions must be in PDF format. Please ensure that your submission includes a title page with the paper title, author(s) names, affiliations, and contact information. The main document should be anonymous to facilitate blind peer review.

File Naming Convention: Please save your submission file as "LastName_FirstName_GTFRBA_2025.pdf".

Notification of acceptance will be sent out by mid-January.
